Dog Days

I guess I will always the girl who cannot depart from her staple white v-neck shirts. I probably have 6 in my closet and I’m always finding myself wearing them on days that I just feel completely out of it.

Honestly, nobody can go wrong with them. They’re comfortable and stylish and anyone can easily go 30 days straight wearing them. Believe me, I’ve done it 😉

Lucky for me, I have these awesome boots from the SM Department store and these cool printed leggings from the Robinsons Department Store to make my look more interesting. If the world never had quirky clothes like this, I don’t know how I would ever be able to express myself!

I’m not wearing make up in this picture. Thanks why I won’t look at you

Rest.In.Peace

I honestly think that the best thing I ever did fashion-wise was invest on blazers from Laundry Clothing

They’ve really helped me put a lot of my looks together and they’re super comfortable, too. I’m totally loving them and I don’t even care if my recent posts have been of me in a blazer. lol

[Leather hat: a CFB’s favorite secret shopping haven. If you ask nicely, I’ll tell! hehe| Folded racerback: Old| Origami skirt: Alla Moda Thrift Shop| Blazer: Laundry Clothing| Gold flats: Ayala Department Store]

I’ll be honest, my style is pretty boring. I like to keep it old (grandma old) and simple. I don’t like color that much and my default bottoms color schemes have and always will be shades of black and white.

But this look… is trends personified! I’ve got a leather cap on, an origami skirt and I’ve even attempted the whole cropped top look. Of course, Paolo would skin me alive if I actually got one so I decided to play around with what I currently had (an old racerback) and folded it instead. If I come out of this alive, I will probably buy myself a decent one.

It made a lot of sense for me to wear black today because I’ve been struggling with my triathlon training (I’m riding my bike for Sugbo Tri’s Hunat Sugbo Triathlon this October 6) and the fact that I can only make it half way through my uphill course training is making me sad. Thus, black is the current emotion of the day.

What do you think of my look?

Your Opinion Is Irrelevant

I know a lot of fashion bloggers don’t usually post pictures of them wearing the same things over and over again and I’m well aware that I am not one of them.

Sometimes I wish I wasn’t but when it comes down to this shirt, I’m not and I’m never really gonna care what anyone has to say about me. IT’S SUPER MARIO FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, can you blame me??

Blazer: Laundry Clothing| SUPER MARIO SHIRT: Targer| Pants: Tickled Pink| Belt: Moms| Watch: Fossil| Flats: Given

Sorry, I can only be a girl for soo long.

For tomboyish girls like me, you can never really go wrong with investing in good blazers.

They’re perfect for adding a little bit of flare to any outfit whether if you’re opting for a casual feel or you just wanna go all out power trippy.

Though, I seriously think I need to stop posing like a boy sometimes. I really do look like a lesbian here, don’t I??

Thanks Tita Balut for these pretty shoes! :*

Angles

I really think that my goal of becoming a full pledged girl has reached its actualization.

I’ve been wearing a lot of girl-ier pieces lately and I won’t lie… I like it!

One piece that I’m glad is in style is definitely the skater skirt.

I think that they’re classic pieces and you can’t quite go wrong with them especially in black especially if you’re a color phobe like me.

They’re cute and classy and well, what more could you want in an outfit?

I decided to pair my skater skirt with a lace top to give off a girlier vibe. And since I’m not a big fan of accessories (although I should reconsider), the lace design served as a good understudy.

Top: Thrifted & Forever21 (under)| Belt: YRYS| Skater Skirt: OOTD_Cebu| Gold flats: Old Navy

** I don’t know what up with my angles in these shots. Was in a hurry and asked one of my OJTs to take my outfit shots. Happy birthday, Anne!

Same Shorts Different Day

I’m an outfit repeater. No shame.

Top: Forever21 (both)| Shorts: Stylish Chique| Watch: iWatchz|

Over the years I’ve grown quite fond of chiffon and would you say… girly pieces?

With chiffon I love how it is instantly equivalent to anything formal or semi-formal at the least.

Plus, I love how it is light weight and I don’t have to worry about getting all sweaty and disgusting.

Chiffon is definitely my quick outfit fix for any occasion.

What’s yours?

Cream of the Crop

Finally some fashion!

My life has been so busy lately. For a while I was job bouncing (jumping from writing to the family business to events and other businesses) until I eventually realized that a steady paying job was one for me.

Whatever pays the bills, right?

But I’m definitely happier now. I love my new job and best of all, I don’t follow a dress code 😛

Blazer: Laundry Clothing| Vneck – Blue Camp| Leopard Shorts: WAGW| Gold Flats: Old Navy| Sports watch: Timex

My eyes are closed in all these photos because I suddenly got allergies in between the shoot. I was literally tearing up while my pictures were being taken.

That’s how much I love this blog and my new “personal” blog: http://www.issatalks.wordpress.com

Zalora Unpacking- The Boyfriend Did Some Shoppingg!!

Recently the boyfriend did some online shopping (without me) at Zalora and being the swell guy that he is, he took some photos of his “unboxing” experience and told me all about his wonderful experience.

Things I love: a supportive boyfriend. ❤

Total: 2,547.00 (free shipping fee)

First of all, don’t even bother asking me what he was doing on Zalora to begin with. But trust me, he’s been raving about them ever since.

Paolo doesn’t like to walk around the malls a lot (typical guy) so I guess online shopping is the perfect outlet for him. If there’s one thing that he likes about Zalora is their collection and how they have cheap and classy yet subtly stylish shoes.

He also loves the fact that they go on crazy cheap sales and that he can spend P2,000.00 on 4 pairs of shoes!

Hawk Footwear – P795.00

Sneakers Slip On – P 668.00

Loafers – Php 639.00

Hawk footwear – Php 695.00

Also, guys are definitely not the types who are willing to do meet ups and all that fuss. Quite honestly, if I could eliminate meet ups completely, I would but… a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.

With Zalora, they deliver it straight to your doorstep and you can choose if you either want to pay in advance or pay upon delivery. The options I think are very convenient!

Now Paolo has 4 new shoes to add to his collection of shoes that are practically all of the same hue (hehe. I had to say it). I can tell he’s happy with them and I’m sure he’s bound to go back for more. Hopefully this time, with me in his heart 😉

Have you tried Zalora yet?

From AM to PM

The focus of today’s entry will be these shorts. These glorious shorts from Trendable PH.

Basically what my lazy as always self was trying to do was use these shorts as my main piece and just try to work around it to create a day- night look. And yes, this time I have pictures for proof! (Disclaimer: My night photos aren’t as decent as my day photos but what do you expect from a point and shoot camera?)

Day look:

Imitation Raybans: Sutukil| Basic white tank: Forever21| Cardigan: On The Byas| Watch: Fossil| Shorts: Trendable PH| Sneakers: Converse

Forever a Chucks girl!

Last Friday was an extraordinarily busy day for me. I was overwhelmed with meetings and back-to-back events that I didn’t have the necessity to go home and change.

So what does a busy bee like me do? Simple, OVER STUFF MY BAG WITH LOTS OF CLOTHES! Sike. Just extra heels and a blazer!

Blazer: Laundry Clothing| Heels: Celine

I definitely think the blazer fixed all my fashion woes that day. And might I add, Laundry Clothing did an exceptional job at making sure I didn’t look like trailer trash for my event that evening. (THANKS A LOT, GUYS! :D)

It took me a long time to finally invest in a good blazer (my bad. No, my wallets bad) but I finally have one and for anyone who’s hoping to get a quick fashion fix, blazers are definitely the best way to go. I’m pretty sure it gave my look the upscale and sophistication it needed for that evenings event.

Oh, and look who it is! It’s BABEFORFOOD! Thanks for taking my photos again ^_^

Come back tomorrow or the next or ’til I get the chance to blog again to find out where we went and what we did that night!

Swap & Wear: The Swap Party with Tomato Time

Last Saturday, I along with my other fellow bloggers, were invited to check out one the newest fashion crazes to hit Cebu- Swap watches by Tomato Time.  The event was held at Alcology and was organized by Crinnovent Corp. (hi Ms. Jodie! Thanks again for the invite!)

And although it was not only raining but also flooding in Cebu, I’m proud to say that a lot of Cebuanos were still able to make it to the event… even if most of us were a bit late. (ehem* ehem* guilty!)

Now about the product. Drum roll, please!

Swap watches by Tomato Time

Swap watches are the newest fashion trend to hit the City. Having been released in Manila for a while now, they have already caught the attention of other bloggers and personalities in the area.

What makes this product unique from the others is your ability to mix and match it with anything and everything according to your outift, mood or personality.

The set mainly compromises of the watch face and strap that comes in different designs and colors from a gold watch face, to a mirrored one and endless colors of straps to choose from.

Not only are they versatile pieces, they are also hella affordable! With the watch faces costing at P500.00 and straps at P350.00, it’s easy for anyone to get addicted to it and well… throw their own watch party!

The Cebu Fashion Bloggers were lucky enough to be given a free set (perks!) but for those who are interested, they are available to the public for P1,000.00 which includes 2 straps and a watch face.

Screenshot from @beautyormadness with Yves Caminge and Rabsin dela Cruz

For my watch, I opted to go for a bright red strap with a mirror face. I thought it stood out with what I was wearing that night and well, who doesn’t love red, right?

Check it out!

Dress: Forever21| Heels: Celine

Swap Watches by Tomato time are located at SM City Cebu, Mandaue front KFC. By the way, they have an amazing staff!

I couldn’t contain myself that I bought a second strap so Paolo and I can mix and match. We even share watches now-well, this watch at least. Yeah, we’re that couple. harhar.

You can add like them on facebook here,

Follow them on instagram here,

or check out their website here.

A special thanks to Paul Gotiong for these photos!

See you at the next party!

The Wall (And Other MYOH Pictures)

As you’ve all heard me say a couple of hundred times already, I was part of this years Make Your Own Havaianas at the SM Northwing last July 18- 21, 2013.

I’ve also mentioned being assigned at the Interactive Zone of the set up which was basically an area where everyone was encouraged to let their imaginations run wild.

Here are some of my favorite shots:
