Where I talk about fashion. These are either my day-to-day looks or looks from events or from fashion shoots. This is also where I talk about things that interest me like trends, throwbacks or whatever may come to mind in regards to fashion.
If you’re wondering when you’re ever going to see me wear these fluffy flats, which I fondly call “floofers”again, the answer is never and I would like to thank my friends’ dog, Amber, for that. Apparently in the eyes of a Siberian Husky, floofers look like yummy balls of goodness and well… you guys can put 2 and 2 together and figure out what happened. Don’t worry, I kept the flats but the floofs are unsave-able. I cannot bring myself to dispose of perfect good shoes so I’m still trying to figure out a way to salvage them! You’ll see what I turn it into in a blog post, obviously.
Pastel and neutral tones have been a recurring trend over the last couple of years but according to my research, it really blew up in 2017. I generally like to stay away from trends until the very last minute (unless it’s really cute- like my floofs) but when you’re shopping and all you see are pastel colored everything’s… you end up putting things in your cart. Next thing I knew, I made a complete outfit out of it!
I wouldn’t say that I am obsessed with this trend mostly because it’s seems a tad bit too soft and feminine for my taste but it’s a good look for casual days full of chores and when you don’t have time to iron. (sorry for the wrinkles) I find pastel colors a bit dull so I paired them with my fluffy flats to make my look stand out. Also, I didn’t want people to focus too much on that fact that I was wearing pink so to the feet I directed them!
When it comes to fashion trends, I believe in the saying: better late than never OR better late than EVER. You see, I will never be the first person to jump on a trend but I will keep a very close eye on it so I can decide if I really want it or if I’ve just been lulled into it by the brain washing media. lol.
FACT: I just bought the full button up version of this skirt.
FACT: These are my first pair of Vans Eras.
FACT: I have never worn fishnet socks prior to this.
FACT: I’ve been using this shirt as a pambalay.
It took me a while to actually embrace this button up denim skirt trend mostly because it seemed a tad bit matriarchal for me. Weird because it’s obviously a trend for the younger women of our times. But not long after this skirt resurfaced, so did a lot of 90’s inspired prints and I simply couldn’t resist!
So for this trend I say, better late than never.
Star Wars Shirt: Old Navy| Skirt: Gaisano Carcar| Fishnet socks: Forever21| Sneakers: Vans
Aviator glasses: Forever21
FACT: I look like a trend magazine puked all over me.
I believe it is safe to say that 90’s fashion has officially made a comeback!!! I think I’ve said this already somewhere on this site but in case you are new here, let me say it again: THE 90’S ARE BACK!
I realize that there are two sides to this flashback with the first point being: wasn’t the 90’s fashion kinda tacky? and secondly… well, that’s the only point I can think of right now. But who cares? I don’t!
I was born and raised in the 90’s and though some of the styles are a little bit over the top e.g. holo skirts and neon everything, I grew up spending hours browsing through glossy pages of magazines imagining of one day being able to pull off those styles… and that time is now!
L_U_E_U_Rsent me a package with this gingham crop top and pink tinted shades and I was shookt! Here’s how I wore it:
The rose tinted shades and gingham were already pretty bold statements so I decided to mute it out by just pairing it with some denim jeans. For footwear, I would top this look off with some white Keds (if I had any!)
I’ve got a whole lot of OOTDS I cannot wait to share with you all- I’ve just been a bit busy with work and spending time with family. Please bear with me, I love you all!
My family received the most amazing surprise a couple days ago when our papa flew in from the States to surprise us. My entire family is set to move back to there in the next years so sharing these fleeting moments with them means the absolute world to me.
For a special occasion, I decided to wear a special jacket from a special person- Bree Esplanada. He’s one of the designers I trust my life with for obvious reasons and if you know designers, you’d be able to spot a Bree Esplanada creation from a mile away.
Aviators: Forever21| Body suit: Forever21| Jogging pants: Adidas| Sneakers: Vans
Casual wear for now but I can’t wait to transform this look into something more dressy!
Does not understand the appeal of sulbing,

We’ve all been there, right? You know, days when you just had to pull yourself out of bed and didn’t have the time to shower? No? Ok then, that’s just me.
Here’s my situation: I am extremely kandingun aka in english, scared shitless of cold water. I only function in warm water but we haven’t gotten around to setting up our heater yet so I’ve had to succumb to ice cold baths ’til godknowswhen. So some days, like this day, when I have to wake up a little earlier than I usually do and bathing is purely optional (I bathed the night before OKAYYY), then I’ll just throw on something cute and head on out.
I was dragged to a meeting I didn’t have to be at with the promise of food and grocery shopping after. I simply could not resist the thought of hash browns and a replenished pantry so, yeah.
When you go out batheless, the last thing you want to do is state the obvious so a chic outfit is always necessary but at the same time, you don’t want to try too much. If you weren’t in the mood to shower, what makes you think you’re in the mood to actually dress up?
I just threw on a light brown dress from Let’s Stylizeand an over sized kimono paired off with over-sized glasses (to hide my make- upless face) and some mules I got from Parisian. See, I look like I actually tried. My fashion tip: Keep a statement kimono, cover up, jacket on hand to spice up an outfit. I do it all the time!
The quality of these photos are absolutely horrendous but since I no longer have these pieces in my closet (I have my sister to thank for that!), I figured I would probably forget to ever wear them again for another shoot so… here you go! Here are some bad photos I took at my mother and brother’s birthday dinner along with a sentimental photo which I just really like to put out into the world because #familyiseverything! I realized I’ve never really told you anything about my family but then again… you probably read about it all the time on my “other” blog. lol.
Top & bottom: Gaisano Grand, Car-car| Flats: SoleMates (SM Department Store)| Watch: Fossil
There was literally no OTHER pose than this.
Our little fam bam – 1 cousin and 1 father. We are extremely small and I have no relatives who are my age which should explain why I am extremely awkward, I act like I’m 40 or 12 (no in betweens) and why I like to exude dominance among most people. HAHAHA. Yes, I’ve actually thought about it.
There’s been an influx of concept stores popping up here and there all over the city of Cebu which is a great way for Cebuano’s to show their love for the local industry. Whether it be a food market for local home chefs or a retail shop for local sellers to display their products- I’m always in to support this great movement! Despite the many international brands coming into the city, which are great in their own sense, I still think it is important to support ang sariling atin and what better way than to not just buy local indigenous products but to also support local businessmen and women, as well.
Urban Lifestyle is the newest concept store to open in the city and is located on the second floor of Axis Entertainment Avenue at Vibo Place. They cater a lot of local brands, carefully curated and placed to fulfill each and every customers cravings.
Here are a few other reasons why you should check them out:
You’ll be supporting local
I cannot say this enough but I really do believe that Cebuano’s should support each other whether it be in their craft, their business ventures or even hobbies. If we shop at expensive international brands, why can’t we shop at equally good local brands at less the price? #supportlocal

3. They’ve got an awesome backdrop for your ootd’s In a time where Instagram is life, Urban Lifestyle has made sure to fulfill every millennials incessant need to take a good photo with an ass kicking backdrop to match. Not only are their items good but so is their urban (duh) interiors which is totally #awesome. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t take advantage of the backdrop because… I did.
4. It’s a great place to hang out with your family/ friends. Urban Lifestyle is a great place to visit to shop and when you’re done, it’s also a great place to hang out as especially because of all the other great things you can do around the area. If you’re hoping to grab a quick meal, some good coffee or a fun activity, there’s always something fun to do there.
I started blogging about fashion about 5-6 years ago- it was an unsure time when people didn’t even know what blogging was and having a group wasn’t especially a part of the norm. I fondly remember the day when I was scrolling Google search engines typing Cebu fashion bloggers/ Fashion bloggers in Cebu/ blogging groups about fashion in Cebu and the like when I miraculously chanced upon a group of fashion bloggers located in the city. It’s no surprise that it was among this group that I actually found my place even after being affiliated with other blogging groups. Being a part of the Cebu Fashion Bloggers turned my life and blogging career around for nothing but the best and a couple of days ago, we gathered together to celebrate such a wonderful union!
I can’t remember when I exactly became a part of the family but I remember the feeling- it was nothing short of amazing! It was back when studs, mesh and Jeffrey Campbell heels were in season and the words minimalist and fashion would never be caught dead in the same sentence. I was suddenly submerged around like-minded people who had fashion as a common denominator and compassion, passion and camaraderie as extraordinary add on’s. It was a simpler time back then and though the times and styles have changed, many years later- the love is still the same.
In this group, I’d be a hypocrite if I said I haven’t made my set of mistakes- I’ve lost my identity, I’ve sided with the wrong team, I had my misconceptions and as unguarded and unfiltered as I am, I’ve definitely pissed off a lot of people. That’s just who I am and luckily, I never found myself alone and afraid. My Cebu Fashion Bloggers family has always had my back and has guided me throughout the ups and downs of my career. They’ve helped me find myself, explore my options and helped me break down my walls that I so strongly build and for that, I am and forever will be grateful.
Many of you will notice that our family is small but we are one- we love each other, look out for one another and we try our best to help each other grow. There is no competition among us in fact, we are the first to help each other achieve a look, a vlog, an entry or project that one cannot simply achieve alone. We support each other, give each other insight and we like to spend endless of hours laughing and making joke on FB messenger! HAHA. Yes, we are small and that’s not to say that it’s the best group out there but it is definitely the best one for me.
On our 8th year in the industry, after having conquered our own set of accomplishments, failures, nuisances and what have you- we emerge better than ever. We’ve got so much to look forward to and we cannot wait to show you guys what we’ve got!
Thank you to everyone who’s supported us throughout the years. There are not enough words to express our unfathomable gratitude.
Wacoal, a brand of premium intimate wear which was previously only available in department stores, has finally opened their first boutique in Cebu. Located at the Upper Ground Floor, City View of Cebu’s and the Philippines’ largest mall, SM Seaside, Wacoal not only offers exclusive designs but also exclusive discounts and offerings, as well.
I’ve always been one to believe in investing in the right undergarments whether it be panties, bras, body shapers and the like. In my perspective, if you spend on clothes that fit you well, shouldn’t the same practices be applied when it comes to the foundations of your outfit- your underwear? That’s exactly why I only invest in quality underwear! Think about it, you don’t need a million bras/ panties AND you can wear them for years at a time.
Studies show that 64% of women wear the wrong sized bra which can not only be unflattering to your body but also detrimental to your health. Wearing the wrong bra that isn’t the perfect fit can actually cause headaches, they can stretch your boobs out, back pain, unwanted bulges, indigestion and other harmful side effects. That is why Wacoal makes an extra effort to make sure that all their customers walk out with underwear of the Perfect Fit down to the cup size, strap and especially the coverage.
My favorite part? They carry bras for breast cancer survivors at cost and they even donate to charity foundations who support the same cause.
Here’s a quick look at their showcase:
Another thing that I greatly appreciate about Wacoal’s pioneering boutique in Cebu is the spacious dressing room that they offer to their customers. It has enough room for you to not only fit your garments but also move around and even have a private adviser come in and assess your situation and guide you in choosing the right underwear. It’s a value added service that isn’t usually found anywhere else which is exactly why I only choose the best for my best friends!
Can I get an AMEN?
