We are constantly being surrounded by different kinds of people whether we want to or not. Sometimes we’ll enjoy their company while on some occasions, it’s a matter putting up with them cause of work, necessity or other reasons I can’t think of right now.
Honestly, last year I spent so much trying to make new friends that I forgot about the one’s I’ve already had and how awesome they already were. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to meet new people but I realized in the process that nobody would understand and put up with me the way the friends I had grown up with would. Maybe because I’m a difficult human being to deal with or that nobody can actually can replace these awesome people in my life. For whatever reasons, I am always grateful that life is the way it is.
So I’m writing my high hopes this year hoping that they become a reality: may 2016 be filled with great sets of friends and of course, clothes like this set from Let’s Stylize!

With all the festivities that went on during the Christmas break, I decided to opt for an all black ensemble during one of our Christmas parties. Why? Because black slims you out.
Not going to deny the fact that I’ve been putting on some weight over the past few months but luckily an all black chic look like this covers up any unwanted weight in a jiffy. I think I will be sporting this look for often as I ease myself into loosing 10 lbs in the next 2 months. (It’s a little friendly competition I’m having between a few friends)

Christmas seasons are indeed the busiest times of the year! On top of work and filling in for my parents, my days have been filled with back to back events (I am, in fact, flooded with backlogs).
For yesterday’s event, I hosted Cebu’s very first Toy and Figure Convention which you’ve probably read and heard me talk here and here. I wanted to wear something festive but chill enough to represent my style so I opted for hues of black and a furry coat which I strongly associate with Christmas cheer.

I’m always trying to save money especially when it comes to my little shopping past time. Every penny counts and when you have to pay for bills, food and other things, every deal is a good one!
When shopping online, I always make it an extra point to read every single detail possible. I hate having to send something back just because I didn’t read every detail so always try to make a conscious effort and read every single detail.
Another thing I like to do when i shop at online stores in the Philippines like Zalora & Lazada is to check voucher code websites to find out which retailers have coupons or discounts. With coupon codes you can get a 10-20% discount so it’s worth shopping at websites that offer them! One of my favorite websites to get coupons from is ivouchercodes as they usually have the best Zalora promo codes and special offers.
And lastly, whether I am shopping online or offline, I make it a point to have a look in mind so I don’t get side tracked and end up buying more than I had intended to. I’m sure we all know the struggles of wanting too many stuff! :>

Dressed up pretty casually for a Saturday afternoon well spent with my siblings to watch the final installment of the Hunger Games trilogy, Mockingjay.
Not a lot of things to say in this post except that during the movie I ate an entire meal set from Greek Taverna that included a salad, a wrap, fries and a drink. It was pretty smelly but I ate it so fast that I highly doubt anybody noticed.

Too many events this week,
As an October kid, I LOVE Halloween! Well, honestly, I can’t really think of anyone who doesn’t really like Halloween because everybody loves it. In fact, I love it more than Christmas especially now that I actually have to buy people gifts. lol.
As a part of Paolo’s 25th birthday gift to me, he agreed to dress up as my favorite video game protagonist’s counterpart. If you haven’t figured out who we are by now, we are actually Ellie & Joel from The Last Of Us.
Here are a few photos and awkward selfies that we took before heading out to celebrate the festivities.
Honestly, nobody really knew who we are and in fact, a bunch of people actually thought we were portraying our inside joke of father and a daughter (for obvious reasons. We are only 3- 4 years a part, by the by!) BUT it didn’t really phase me. I was just happy that we got to do this together and that I got to party in sneakers!
