and i honestly hate it. and wtf, who wouldn’t?
ANYWAYS, so i was assigned to bring a CD player since i was in the sound something committee. But this morning before going to school, my papa told me to LEAVE the player cuz it wouldn’t work! So naturally i freaked out because… well, you have a brain, use it why don’t you? It was really hard to find a cd player at such short notice, so i texted one of the third years and she said it was OK cuz someone else was bringing speakers. Ok, they could’ve at least told me in advance!!! I mean, what if i went to the community with the player only to find out they were gonna use an iPod. GEEZ. and they have my number! i really hate them for that.
So i got to the health center and suddenly it’s a NEW instructor who changed everything and made us do a home visit and somehow convince them to come with us with their kids to learn about hygiene. I mean, these people may be poor but they have lives! you don’t just expect them to drop what they’re doing to teach their kids how to wash their hands, do you? I mean, sometimes a lot of these things don’t make sense to me. Sometimes people can be very inconsiderate and it pisses me off gyud. rar!
And since we had to do it in 45 minutes, all 19 of us were racing plus we use the buddy system so it’s time consuming. Point is that, i kept going up to different mothers asking if i could interview them and i kept getting the same answer- NO. i wanted to cry because NO ONE HARDLY SAYS NO TO ME š¦ [ok that sounded bratty] but really. UGGGH!!! And the worst thing is, we had to have our pictures taken with the family that we interviewed and invited. I got so desperate, i got an 11 year old boy and told him to tell people he was 6 if anyone asked and used him and his mom. š
i felt bad for the mom though cuz she’s a single mother of three who only finished the 4th grade. she collects garbage and washes clothes for a living and only makes 80 pesos the most a day which is less than my allowance per day. i get 250 for crying out loud and sometimes that’s not even enough for myself š¦ And to top it all off, she’s had a cyst of her breast for over 10 years now and she’s too scared to go to the doctor. i feel for these people. i just can’t believe people actually live like that. She doesn’t even have electricity and her meals consist of rice and salt on a regular basis. sometimes fish if she’s lucky š¦ i’m really thankful i don’t live like that and i really do wanna help them. hoo humm
moving on…. i hate MRS. YGNACIO. she looks like this:
